A Whimsical Wedding at Hotel Valley Ho
Planning a wedding on one’s own can be quite daunting. However, for Mike Duhaney and Natalie Pratt, planning their upcoming May nuptials has been an enjoyable one, full of love and support from friends and family.
The couple’s journey began in Arizona wine country, where Mike had planned to propose to Natalie during a weekend spent with friends. Everything was set for a romantic dinner proposal, complete with a chocolate fountain, on the day of their arrival. However, a major accident along the way delayed the couple two hours, thwarting Mike’s proposal plans. Not to be discouraged, Mike planned the proposal at the same restaurant for the next afternoon, only for the group to decide on dining somewhere else. Finally settled at the new restaurant, a slice of Oreo Cheesecake garnished with a brilliant diamond ring told the rest of the story.
Settling on the Palm Courtyard at the Hotel Valley Ho as the site for their sunset vows, the couple has strived to make their ceremony both a classic affair and flawless reflection of their personalities with a black, silver and fuchsia color scheme. “We loved the atmosphere of the Hotel Valley Ho and wanted to pick colors that would be bright and fun, while at the same time, staying somewhat traditional and timeless,” explained Natalie. And with friends and family flying in from all across the country to witness Natalie and Mike to finally say “I do,” the day is sure to be a truly magical one.
