For many people, pets aren’t just animals to have around the house, they are loyal companions, enthusiastic playmates, dedicated listeners and an integral part of the family. That’s exactly how we feel here at Paradise Valley Lifestyle, so for the September “Pet Issue” we’ve included some inspiring stories about local pet-lovers doing everything they can to say thank you to their four-legged companions.
Take, for instance, the Noble Beast, a local ma’ and pa’ pet shop dedicated to providing the best in pet food and health products. Not only are owners Alison Stanton and Marsha Vallee dedicated to pet nutrition, but they also love to give back to small community rescue shelters by hosting free and fun events like Doga (doggy-yoga) and “Spaw” Days.
Also giving back to the pet community is Foothills Animal Rescue, an organization dedicated to giving abandoned dogs and cats a second chance by getting them off the streets, back to good health and into a warm and loving home.
For all those pet parents out there looking to escape for a weekend, Applewood Pet Resort offers animal care like no other. Rest assured while leaving your furry friend at this stunning cage-free hotel with expansive green lawns, sparkling blue pools and spotless accommodations—they may even have a more relaxing time than you.
With all the wonderful pets and animal-lovers you’ll meet in this issue, I encourage you to take some time and give your own pet a special hug—I’m sure it will be most welcome and appreciated!
Until next month,
