Fall Fashion Trends for 2017 12

When it comes to fashion, everyone wants to create a look that reflects their own style and personality. We want designs and fabrics that are comfortable and colors that make us look great.

This fall, nothing makes a bolder fashion statement than the color red. It is a power color that women can incorporate into their wardrobe in a dress, skirt, sweater or coat. As an accent color, it will look great as a vest, scarf, purse or pair of shoes. For men, a red sweater, T-shirt, long sleeve polo, or tie are excellent choices. You’ll also see the color brown making the fashion scene big this fall and be a main contender as a staple wardrobe color. Many say it’s the new black.

Accessories making the ladies’ fashion scene this season includes the clutch purse and the wider belt. The clutch purse will appear in sophisticated designs for daytime and soft, elegant designs for the evening. Ladies, the wider belt is appearing over longer jackets and coats making it an attractive addition to your wardrobe. And, boots are back big with beaded embellishments and accents in unique styles.

Many retro looks are being shown in hats, patterns and handbags. Western styles are stealing the scene with fashionable designs that include leather vests, fringe boots and cowhide prints. Plaids are big and will be found in dresses, vests, shirts and accessories. Not to be overlooked are the mid-calf skirts which are more flowing and versatile to take you from office to evening.

Men will love dressing in unconstructed overshirts. Narrow pant legs are still a hit. And pairing a fashionable sports coat with a great pair of denim jeans will always be a classic, dressy-casual look.

Loop Jean Company

It’s all about comfort at Loop Jean Company located at The Shops at Gainey Village, and, despite being open only 10 months, it has already become the denim destination in the Valley for premium jeans that offer a comfortable fit for both men and women of all ages. The concept was created by husband and wife team Ted and Tamara Greve, who opened their first Loop Jean Company in Tucson 10 years ago. They created their business with this mission: Your destination for the world’s most sought-after brands for men and women, expertly fit by one of our specialists to ensure the most flattering jean possible.

Currently, there are more than 15 brands of denim which range from skinny to bootcut for women, slim to relaxed for men and everything in between. Popular brands include Paige, Rag & Bone, AG and Citizens of Humanity.

Store manager Jordyn Coty has been with the company seven years. She definitely knows her jeans, having dozens in her wardrobe so she can share from experience about the stretch, color retention and overall wear. Jordyn’s objective is to help every customer find a perfect fitting jean they’ll love wearing. She starts by concentrating on the fit; the length and color come next.

“Everyone deserves a great fitting, premium jean tailored to their body,” Jordyn shares. “My job is matching the jean to their body shape.”

Loop Jean Company carries a large collection and exclusive styles from Robert Graham. Other men’s designer brands include Mizzen & Main, which has performance material with some stretch and is easy to pack and wear. There is a selection of Black House Academy T-shirts and button long-sleeve shirts. This winter they’re introducing Rag & Bone denim shirts, T-shirts and sweaters. To complete the look, Loop offers quality shoes from Cole Haan, OluKai and Two24 by Ariat for men and women, plus boots from Wolverine’s Thousand Mile Collection for men.

On the ladies’ side, you’ll also find designer brands for shirts, sweaters, dresses, shoes and boots by Rails, Wilt, Heather and Equipment to name a few. Unique accessories include wax seal talismans from Pyrrha, Shinola watches, beautiful artisan silver buckles and a variety of leather belt straps.

“Fashion trends for the fall are hand-sewn pearls on denim, brocade floral print designs and black on black embroidery, which you’ll find among the store’s new arrivals,” Jordyn says.

In-house alterations complete the fit for every body type. Most inseams are 34 inches or longer, and the complimentary hemming includes removing the existing hem and creating a new one, so the jean lays just right. Other alterations include waist adjustments, leg tapering and jean patching to extend the longevity of your favorite pair. Loop Jean Company’s detailed customer service includes special orders at no additional charge.
