Top Three Trends
1. Balayage Hair Color
This technique has been popular for a while and is still going strong. This is such a popular trend because it is flattering on every face shape and skin tone. This technique offers subtle to strong dimensional color in the hair; it can be soft and natural to add extreme contrast. At `Ohana, we do a lot of balayage color on our guests, and we also offer a cutting-edge technique called eclipting color which is balayage done in a way to contour and bring out or diminish specific facial and body features. We work with Aveda color which is a plant-based hair color line.
This treatment is like a luxurious facial for your scalp. The Pramasana Treatment is specific to treating the scalp, not just the hair. By targeting the health of the scalp, you can combat flaking, redness and itchy scalp. It deep cleanses the follicles to remove product buildup and promote hair growth and lays the groundwork for stronger, more beautiful hair. It helps balance sebum levels to maintain the purity of the scalp at the root of the hair. This treatment penetrates the surface layers of the scalp to nourish and help preserve the scalp’s natural protective barrier while helping protect the scalp from aggressors such as pollution and other free radicals.
A hot trend right now is embracing texture. Working with natural curl and even perms are making a comeback! It’s not your typical ’80s perm—they are softer with bigger waves and just give the hair more of a beachy texture than a tight curl. We offer an amazing cutting technique for curly hair called curl carving. Basically, we carve out individual curls to remove bulk and give the curl a more defined shape.
