Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust Awards Grant to Arizona Helping Hands

Arizona Helping Hands has seen phenomenal growth in every phase of their operations over the past five years, growing into the largest provider of material items to make homes safer and lives better for the 15,000 boys and girls in the state’s foster care system.

“There have been many growing pains in this process,” Dan Shufelt, AHH president and CEO says. “One of the areas that we are way behind the curve on is our technology system.”

Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust has awarded AHH a grant of $188,500 over three years to develop and install systems to bring their technology up to date and prepare the organization for the future.

“This new system will allow us to more effectively manage our rapidly growing operations, make the process easier for families who need our services and provide good stewardship of the resources with which we are blessed,” he says. “Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust is a valuable partner in our growth and expansion, and we are so grateful for their assistance in this much-needed improvement to our operations.”
