The Eighth Annual Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships

The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships proved that it was the place to be! Event highlights and record-breaking numbers include: a five-figure crowd; the most DJs playing on site at once; a record number of musical and cultural performances on site; and new concepts such as the Hall Pass, an unusual pop-up sports bar, the all-new F.A.B. Tent, standing for fashion, art and beauty, and the “World’s Farthest Rugby Sevens Match.”

This year also marked the first time Ralph Lauren model and world-famous polo player Nacho Figueras played Scottsdale.

Dominick’s Steakhouse Raises More than $33,000 for Make-A-Wish Arizona

The Valley’s favorite family of steakhouses, Dominick’s Steakhouse, is proud to present a check for $33,550 to Make-A-Wish Arizona. The funds were raised after holding its annual fundraiser for Arizona Wish kids this fall.

Thanks to co-founders Jeff, Mike and Dennis Mastro and Scott Troilo, guests were able to enjoy dinner at Dominick’s Steakhouse in the Scottsdale Quarter for a cause. 100 percent of funds raised that night, except taxes and tips to the servers, went directly to Make-A-Wish Arizona to grant wishes for kids dealing with critical illnesses.

Hermosa Inn Celebrated the Holidays in Style

The holiday season was a magical time of year at The Hermosa Inn. This historic inn exuded the spirit of the holidays with its handcrafted adobe architecture that glittered with luminaries along the rooftop of Lon’s, the namesake of its signature restaurant. Multiple wreaths and elaborately decorated trees with handmade ornaments and dried flowers from Arizona added an authentic charm that is truly Arizona. Numerous cozy fireplaces adorned the hotel’s popular outdoor patio, providing the perfect amount of warmth on a cool desert evening.
