Fired Pie Supports Single Mothers

In an effort to support single mothers, locally owned Fired Pie donated 10% of its total sales in May to benefit From Pain to Promise, a nonprofit that works to support single mothers by helping them find stable jobs and assisting with essentials like groceries, gas, bills, health and dental. Guests also had the option to purchase a gift card for single moms at the register, and Fired Pie provided change canisters at the registers to collect additional donations. The locally owned restaurant allows you to take on the role of chef by picking and choosing your own type of dough, sauce and topping. The sophisticated yet affordable pizzeria also offers build-your-own salads and customizable mac ‘n’ cheese. For more information about Fired Pie, visit For more information about From Pain to Promise, visit
