LDV Winery Tasting Room Carries New Rosé of Grenache

LDV Winery recently released its first Rosé of Grenache. The intensely flavored 2018 Rosé of Grenache exhibits a beautiful dark rose color, and was made by cold soaking the grapes using the limited skin maceration method and leaving the Grenache on the skins for 16 hours to create an incredibly rich color profile.

The wine was produced in stainless steel to preserve the fruity aromas and flavors, and was made with 100% Grenache, which is rare for a Rosé.

Available at the Scottsdale tasting room by the glass or bottle.

January is Cervical Awareness Month

According to, “about 79 million Americans currently have HPV. Many people with HPV don’t know they are infected. And each year, more than 11,000 women in the United States get cervical cancer.”

Cervical Health Awareness Month is meant to raise awareness about how women can protect themselves from both HPV (human papillomavirus) and cervical cancer. HPV is actually a common infection, spread by sexual activity, and is the cause of almost all cases of cervical cancer.

Women should be screened regularly for cervical cancer so that, if it is developing, it can be caught early. The screening is usually part of a well-woman exam, and typically covered by insurance. As well, pre-teens—both boys and girls—can receive the HPV vaccine.
